iPhone X got the best of me...

Well, I'm sure you can tell from this title that I could not do it. I didn't even have an upgrade nor did I need a new phone. I was 3 days in and I went to the apple store to get my laptop fixed and walked out with a new iPhone. They were so persuasive. I literally spent the amount of money on this iPhone that I could have used to buy a ticket to Germany. Ask me why I did it and I could not tell you. I feel like this is a habit of mine to just buy things because sales people do their job and tell me I need it so I'm like "yeah I do don't I?" But really what is the difference between this phone and my last generation iPhone... I don't even know.

If I could go back and do things differently, I would not have bought this because it is so unimportant in the grand scheme of things. On the bright side, this was the only thing I actually bought within those two weeks though since I eat at the dining hall and walking is my form of transportation.

I learned from this challenge that buying on impulse makes me feel like I have little to no control over myself and my actions which affects how I feel about myself. I also learned that I am highly susceptible to good marketing which is ironic since I am a marketing major.
